Our services have changed

Since the COVID-19 outbreak we have changed the way we deliver services to be as safe as possible. This website provides information you need in the current times. Our normal website is still available if you need non COVID-19 information. See the boxes below.

Vaccination is having a positive impact on reducing transmission of COVID-19 and severe illness and early evidence is that the booster is adding to this significantly. If you have not had your vaccines yet and are eligible, please book an appointment by calling 119 free of charge or clicking this website link Book or manage a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

We are asking patients to still attend hospital and community appointments or procedures as planned unless we have contacted you to change the arrangements.

To enable us to care for you as safely as possible we need you to do a number of things to limit the spread of COVID-19:

  • Get all of your COVID vaccinations as soon as you are eligible.
  • Continue to wash/gel hands regularly, particularly on entry and throughout your hospital visit

Please do not attend if you have COVID-19 symptoms:

  • a high temperature or shivering (chills)
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
  • shortness of breath
  • feeling tired or exhausted
  • an aching body
  • a headache
  • a sore throat
  • a blocked or runny nose
  • loss of appetite
  • diarrhoea
  • feeling sick or being sick
